About this property

Welcome to Weasku Inn

Set along the Rogue River Highway in Grants Pass, Oregon, this rustic-chic lodge dates back to 1924, originally serving as a fishing lodge before becoming a guesthouse. The property comprises multiple cabins and a main lodge area featuring communal spaces such as a stone fireplace and seating areas both indoors and outdoors. Guests appreciate the historic character blended with homey touches, including cozy porches, fireplaces in some cabins, and scenic views of wooded creeks and nearby waterways.

Amenities focus on comfort and convenience, offering free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, accessible facilities, and free parking. Complementing the accommodations are daily complimentary hot breakfasts and evening appetizers highlighted by cookies and s’mores around a fire pit. While there is no on-site restaurant or fitness center, some cabins include kitchens, making it suitable for guests seeking a self-catered stay. Children are welcome, but pets are not allowed.

The location suits visitors interested in sightseeing and outdoor recreation, with attractions such as the Valley of the Rogue State Park and Troon Vineyard & Farm within easy reach. Guests have noted the peaceful environment and accessibility to nearby nature trails along the river, though some have mentioned that direct river access is limited and that nearby highway noise can be audible outside but is generally not disruptive indoors. The lodge offers a quiet, relaxed atmosphere conducive to unwinding.

Those valuing a blend of historic charm and natural surroundings often find Weasku Inn appealing. The staff’s hospitable service and attention to detail in guest offerings contribute significantly to the experience, as reflected in many reviews praising both the quality of breakfasts and the comfortable, well-kept accommodations. The property’s combination of rustic heritage and practical amenities attracts travelers who prioritize a distinctive, tranquil lodge experience over urban conveniences.

This was the most beautiful, charming place I've stayed. The physical location is incredible. Nothing better than the rainy forest in Oregon. Cecil at the front desk was so accommodating and considerate. There was absolutely NOTHING about the cabon that could even be considered to be an issue. Everything was clean, comfortable, and homey. I will definitely be coming back! (As soon as I can!)

We absolutely LOVED the Weasku Inn!! From delicious appetizers when we arrived, to evening s’mores and cookies around the fire, and a hot breakfast before a day of wine tasting, this place is a total gem! The cabins are comfortable with a fireplace and adorable porches. And maybe best of all was the hospitality of the staff, we only hope to come back soon!

Loved it! A homely, unique inn with so much history! We could spend hours walking around the main room. Awesome diaroma too! Warm fire, too. We loved the homemade breakfast with bacon, eggs, potatoes and so much more! We woke up to the smell of breakfast being made. Hot shower, good pressure, endless towels, soft robes, board games, and of course, a beautiful view. We will be back.

We stayed in a "River" queen cabin for our anniversary weekend. The "river" is technically accurate as they are the closest rooms to the Rogue River, but they are actually along a creek that runs in front of a wooded area before you get to the river (small distance, and can still hear the river) - just a small clarification. That said, the whole property is very quiet, peaceful and beautiful! The breakfast & appetizers they provide for free are way above the normal free breakfast hotels provide. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was large, with the bed facing a pair of windows and door that led out onto a private balcony facing the creek/river and provided a nice peaceful setting and great view into the woods, while still providing privacy. There was a seating area in front of the fireplace in the room (which we didn't use because it was hot, but would LOVE in the winter or colder spring/fall evenings). The room had AC which was great for the warm weather. They have seating areas outside between the main lodge and the cabins, which were comfortable and relaxing, and a nice fire pit area off the side of the deck from the main lodge. Absolutely loved this place, and will definitely make return trips here in the future.

Really lovely inn. Loved the supper appetizers and the hot cookies and s'mores in the evening. Breakfast was very good. Setting is pretty but surprised that the river was so far away and really not very accessible. Hwy 5 noise was noticeable outside but quiet inside. Rooms were excellent, clean, large, and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Recommended!

This place felt so comfortable and relaxed. It carried its heritage really well, having a classic Americana with well kept grounds, a beautiful lodge and great service. We stayed on a quiet night yet they still put out a full spread for an appetizer hour. And the breakfast was a delicious continental filled with fresh food. There was also a fire pit with s’mores for the kids nightly.

What a relaxing time my husband and I had these past few days. The setting was something to behold! There were many windows overlooking the wooded area in our cozy spacious room with the soft sofa facing the fireplace. I took a photo of my husband so relaxed, reading in front of the fireplace. We enjoyed the relaxation very much along with the delicious hors d’oeuvres, scrumptious cookies and milk prior to bedtime and the well stocked breakfast. They fed us so well, we only went out to eat once for dinner. We both highly recommend the friendly staff, high quality bed and mattress and the duplex units offering much space that was so quiet and private,

My wife and I recently spent a night at Weasku Inn and had an amazing experience! For context, we stayed on a Monday in November. Upon arrival, we walked into the main lodge/common space/office. There was a warm, stone fireplace stocked by locally (I presume) split wood and encompassed by fun decor and artwork. The expansive couch in front of the fireplace offered a cozy setting to drink some tea or hot chocolate, which they had an expansive selection of. Early in the evening they offered appetizers and snacks, including assorted fruits, veggies, rice, and a delicious chicken stir-fry. Later on in the evening they offered warm chocolate chip cookies (soft and tasty!) as well as pre-packaged smores packets. Even though it was cooler and damp outside, they had an additional fire to roast the marshmallows. The breakfast selection the following morning was also impressive. Some of what it included: Eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, biscuits and gravy, bagels, fruit, coffee, granola, yogurt, and pitchers of juices and water. Accompanying every amenity was a staff member equally as wonderful, offering help or additional services for whatever we were looking for. Every room might be a bit different, but ours was expansive (tall ceilings) with a balcony and view to the river. Everything was neat and clean with an especially spacious bathroom. Lastly, the area itself is beautiful. The property has access to a trail that runs along the river, as well as a cute outdoorsy space to lounge (weather depending). I would absolutely love to come back!
